- May be asked to participate in the abuse and perhaps rewarded for
this
- May be forced to do housework if you cannot
- You may be undermined in front of them, which may confuse them
- They may be used to find you if you have left the home
- They may be forced to remain silent or keep the abuse a secret
- Be threatened if you do not comply with the abusers demands or expectations
- Have their toys destroyed or their pets killed
- Not allowed to have contact with you
